The above position with UNDP in Algeria was addressed exclusively to nationals from the following countries: Benin, Bolivia, Burundi, DR Congo, Ecuador, Mali, Morocco, Mozambique, Niger, Palestinian territories, Peru, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, and Vietnam. Timeline
- The deadline for receipt of application for these positions was 12 midday (Copenhagen time) on Monday 24 October 2011.
Applications received after this deadline would not be considered. In view of the volume of applications, only candidates being invited to an interview have been contacted.
General Conditions
Duration of Assignment: Initially one year with the possibility to extend up to 3 years.
Grade/Step: P2 the first year. The step will depend on years of relevant professional experience.
All Candidates must:
- Be a national from the countires mentioned above;
- Be no more than 32 years of age on 31 December of the year of application;
- Hold a Master's degree or equivalent;
- Have at least two years of work experience that is relevant to the post applied to;
- Excellent English skills. Fluency in other UN languages is an asset and may be required in function of the specific position. Languages skills may tested in the interview along with English;
- Not have worked previously as a JPO/APO/YPO/AE.
